“Wine and Design” Sisterhood Gathering
Thanks to Soror LaShica Waters and the Membership Services Committee for planning and coordinating a successful gathering at Wine and Design, in celebration of Sisterhood Month. Congratulations to the CHCAA Physical and Mental Health Committee on a successful event, “Red for Cure”: A Forum on Black Women & HIV Cure, that was held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill. Dr. Allison Mathews, CHCAA chapter member and coordinator of the event, served as moderator. CHCAA Step Team Performs at Bennett College
Congratulations to the CHCAA Step Team for a fantastic performance at the Ebony Soul Exhibition Step Show held Saturday, April 23, on the campus of Bennett College! Thanks to Soror LaTonya Woods-Smith for assisting with the music and Sorors Keshia Staton and Darnella Streeter for coming out to support the team.

Sorors walk in the 2016 OCIM Walk For Hunger
Five CHCAA sorors participated in the walk and several donated food items prior to the walk. We had a goal of 250 items and achieved 54.4% of the goal. Thanks for sorors participation and donations.
