RULES: 2020 KIA RIO Scholarship & Public Service Fundraiser
You must be 18 years of age or older to participate. One ticket is only $50. Each ticket will have a different number which you will receive via email upon completion of your purchase. We are not responsible for any lost or misdirected email. If you do not receive your ticket via email within 24 hours after purchase, please send email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Grand Prize is a new 2020 KIA RIO valued at $16,000. Ticket donations will be used to purchase the prize. The winner can add options to the vehicle or choose a more expensive vehicle as long as they pay the difference in value.
If less than 500 tickets are distributed the Grand Prize will be 50% of the total donations, up to, but not to exceed $5,000. The remaining donations will go toward the scholarship and public service programs. There is no cash option if you win the 2020 KIA RIO – you win the prize – not actual cash.
The winner is responsible for all vehicle delivery, title, taxes, tags and documentation fees prior to the vehicle being transferred. The prize winner assumes all fees, local, state and federal taxes (including, but not limited to, income taxes based on the value of the prize). The organizer takes no responsibility for any tax liabilities. Consult your tax advisor. This Drawing is void where prohibited by law, and all federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
The prize winner will be contacted by phone and/or email on Sunday, April 19th. The WINNER will also be shared on the CHCAA Social Media pages:
- @DST.CHCAA (facebook)
- @CHCAA1979 (twitter)
The prize can be transferred to anyone you wish, as long as they are located in the 48 contiguous states of the USA. If the winner declines acceptance of the prize, another winner will be selected.
A PARTICIPANT’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR A BREACH BY THE ORGANIZATION SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE RETURN OF THE DONATION FOR HIS OR HER DRAWING TICKET(S).
