Divine 9 NC Legislative Day – Recap

 

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, was pleased to host the 3rd Annual Divine Nine NC Legislative DayWednesday, May 16, 2018. We are delighted that the National and International Presidents of all the Divine Nine organizations, was in attendence on this occasion of collaboration, information-sharing, and advocacy for social action. The event location was Halifax Mall, at the North Carolina State Legislative Building, 16 W Jones St, Raleigh, NC.

The purpose of Divine Nine NC Legislative Day is to increase awareness, build momentum and gain an understanding of important social issues that impact our communities. We sincerely hope you will join the other Divine Nine organizations and the public for this unique educational opportunity, which will better prepare us to empower ourselves and serve our local communities. We look forward to next years’ Divine Nine at the state capitol!
